A position of the tip of an excavating blade of a drill head with respect to a ground and a distance from the drill head are measured by a position sensor and a depth sensor, and the results of the measurement are transmitted to a data processing device on the ground, thus enabling the shape of the pile hole 54 drilled during a drilling operation to be displayed as a drilled three-dimensional shape 60. When drilling the pile hole 54, the reference three-dimensional shape 60A is first displayed and the drilled three-dimensional shape 60 is overlapped and displayed thereon, thus performing drilling work while comparing both shapes 60A, 60 (b to g). When a defective part 61 occurs on the drilled three-dimensional shape 60, it can be visually and quickly checked to repair the defective part 61.
