PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer and a dispensing probe thereof capable of reducing carry-over between samples.SOLUTION: An automatic analyzer 100 dispensing a sample and a reagent and measuring a mixture liquid, comprises: a vessel storing therein the sample separated into an upper layer and a lower layer; a dispensing probe 16 having a predetermined outside diameter, and attracting and dispensing the sample in the vessel from one end; and probe moving means for moving the dispensing probe 16 into the vessel, causing the dispensing probe 16 to pass through the upper sample, and stopping the dispensing probe 16 at a lower layer attraction position at which the lower sample can be attracted. An inclined surface an outside diameter of which increases without forming stepped parts to be continuous to the predetermined outside diameter is formed on one end of the dispensing probe 16 in a range in which the dispensing probe 16 contacts the lower sample when the dispensing probe 16 is at the lower layer attraction position. |
