PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas detector allowing easy replacement of components such as a battery or a vibration plate when such components need to be replaced.SOLUTION: A portable gas detector 1 includes a front surface side case 21, a rear surface side case 22 containing a battery housing portion 221, and an intermediate case 23 which is sandwiched between the front surface side case 21 and the rear surface side case 22 and in which a vibration plate for generating sound is disposed.
