PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a valve control mechanism that can optimally control an engine by lifting an intake valve only by a required amount while suppressing noise in operation.SOLUTION: A valve control mechanism includes: a camshaft 20; a control shaft 30 that rotates synchronously with the camshaft; a rocker arm 40 that rocks with control projections 34 of the control shaft 30 respectively as a fulcrum when in contact with a cam part 22 of the camshaft 20; and a lash adjuster 50 that transmits the rocking force of the rocker arm 40 to an intake valve 10. The control projections 34 are formed on the control shaft 30 to be freely relatively rotatable with respect to a driving-side member 31. The valve control mechanism also includes an engine control unit 60 that changes the rocking form of the rocker arm 40 while changing the rotational phase of the control projections 34 by the driving force of an actuator part. |
