PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a small size and a wide visible range.SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: a reproduction light source 41; an organic photorefractive element 47 that stores a first pattern 48 for reproducing an image 81 by diffracting a reproduction illuminating light 45 from the reproduction light source; and a light exposure mechanism 35 that stores the first pattern in the organic photorefractive element by exposing the organic photorefractive element to light. The light exposure mechanism 35 comprises: a spatial light modulator 27 that displays a second pattern 28 corresponding to the first pattern; and a relay optical system 30 disposed between the spatial light modulator and the organic photorefractive element. The relay optical system projects the second pattern displayed by the spatial light modulator, onto the organic photorefractive element, with a reduced diameter. |
