A diffusing material (54, 55) constituting a reflective surface is provided inside the upper frame body (51) and the lower frame body (52). Said diffusing material (54, 55) can be separated, in the direction in which the laser rod (11) and the flash lamp (12) are adjacent, at positions where the reflective surface intersects a straight line that, in a cross-section perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the laser rod (11), passes through the flash lamp (12) and is perpendicular to a straight line that connects the center of the laser rod (11) and the center of the flash lamp (12).
