PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for suppressing generation of bad debts that prevents generation of bad debts for use charges of office equipment installed in a company or the like.SOLUTION: A system for suppressing generation of bad debts includes: a credit information storage unit for storing credit information; an uncollected debt specification processing unit for specifying whether an uncollected debt has been generated, on the basis of the credit information storage unit; a validity information storage unit for storing information indicating validity of electronic certificate information; validity information update processing unit for updating the electronic certificate information stored in the validity information storage unit to information indicating non-validity of the electronic certificate information, on the basis of uncollected debt information specified by the uncollected debt specification processing unit; and a validity confirmation processing unit for changing a use propriety state of office equipment by receiving a confirmation request for the validity of the electronic certificate information to be stored in the office equipment and referring to the validity information storage unit in order to return an answer regarding the validity of the electronic certificate information. |
