Ocean wave energy device appertains to the subject field of transforming ocean wave energy into electric energy, and uses an apparatus which transforms the rectilinear motion of the platform 2, caused by the waves, using a converter, which consists of a frame 3 and a V-belt sheave 6, into circular motion. The frame 3 is attached to the platform's 2 side props 7 with joints 8 and the V-belt sheave 6 is connected through a mechanical transmission to the flywheel 9 which powers the electric generator G. V-belt's segments 4, 5 are attached onto the frame's vertical sides, which adhere to the V-belt sheave 6 in turns during its joints 8 operation, giving it unidirectional rotation from the platform's 2 movement in both directions. |
