The present invention relates to a novel carbonic anhydrase derived from a microorganism for catalyzing hydration of carbon dioxide. Moreover, the present invention relates to a polynucleotide for coding the novel carbonic anhydrase, a recombinant vector including the polynucleotide, a transformant transformed by the vector, and a method for producing the novel carbonic anhydrase by using the transformant. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a carbon dioxide collecting composition including the novel carbonic anhydrase, and a method for collecting carbon dioxide by using the carbonic anhydrase. The novel carbonic anhydrase according to the present invention has activities thereof stably maintained at a high temperature, so the carbonic anhydrase can be beneficially used in collecting and converting carbon dioxide even at a high temperature. Accordingly, it is expected that industrial applicability thereof is high. |
