PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as its main object, holding material for exhaust emission control device showing its easy winding around an exhaust emission processing body and easy installation between the exhaust emission processing body and a casing while reducing an amount of organic binder.SOLUTION: This invention relates to holding material for exhaust emission control device comprising a main body part of which shape as seen from its top plan view is rectangular, a first fitting part arranged at one end of the main body part, a second fitting part arranged at the other end of the main body part and fitted to the first fitting part and inorganic fiber molding containing organic binder and the problem described above is solved by providing the holding material for exhaust emission control device in which an average inclusion amount of the organic binder at the first fitting part and the second fitting part is larger than an average inclusion amount of the organic binder at the main body part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
