PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the rigidity of an elastic locking piece without increasing the insertion resistance of a terminal metal fitting.SOLUTION: A connector 10 houses a female terminal 20 in a cavity 41 provided in a housing 40 from the back and locks the female terminal 20 from the back by an elastic locking piece 45 provided in the bottom wall of the cavity 41. The elastic locking piece 45 provided to be elastically displaced toward a bending space 46 at a base end part serving as a fulcrum by extending forward in a cantilever state comprises: a locking piece body 47 to be elastically displaced; a locking projection 48 for locking the female terminal 20 from the back by being projected on the upper surface of the locking piece body 47; a reinforcement part 49 provided on the side surface of the locking piece body 47; and a support part 52 having a tapered portion 53 and arranged to cross the locking piece body 47 and the reinforcement part 49 on the lower side of the elastic locking piece 45. |
