PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension substrate with a circuit capable of preventing deformation of a gimbal part under a high-humidity atmosphere and thereby stably maintaining an attitude angle of a slider to a hard disk, and to provide a method for manufacturing the suspension substrate with the circuit.SOLUTION: A step of forming an insulating layer 13 comprises: preparing a metal support layer 2; forming the insulating layer 13 on the metal support layer 2; forming a conductor layer 3 on the insulating layer 13; and forming a first opening 7 which corresponds to the conductor layer 3 in a gimbal part 5 and partitions a tongue part 11 and an outrigger part 12 on the metal support layer 2. In the step of forming the insulating layer 13, the insulating layer 13 is formed such that the conductor layer 3 is covered and thickness of a lower half part 26 of the insulating layer 13 in a passage part 25 for passing the first opening 7 is the same as thickness of an upper half part 27 of the insulating layer 13 in the passage part 25. |
