PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor positioning structure equipped with a torque sensor support member of simple structure having excellent slidability against a detection shaft and capable of improving the detection accuracy of a torque sensor, and an electric power assisted bicycle equipped with the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a torque sensor positioning structure having a magnetostriction shaft 3 fixed at one end of a crank shaft 2, capable of rotating integrally with the crank shaft 2, and disposed coaxially with the crank shaft 2 and a torque sensor 4 for detecting torque acting on the magnetostriction shaft 3 and disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the magnetostriction shaft 3, wherein the torque sensor 4 is held by a plurality of support members 8 disposed on the outside of both ends in the axial direction of the torque sensor 4. |
