The present invention provides an air conditioner which takes an indoor heat source into account and identifies action of a human body indoors and reflects the action to air conditioning control. The air conditioner comprises: a wind direction plate for changing and adjusting the wind direction of the air; a temperature detecting mechanism (125) for detecting the position and the temperature of the indoor heat source; a first wind direction control mechanism for changing the orientation of the wind direction plate according to the position of the indoor heat source detected by the temperature detecting mechanism (125); and a second wind direction control mechanism for changing the orientation of the wind direction plate according to the temperature of the indoor heat source detected by the temperature detecting mechanism (125). The air conditioner judges whether position of a human body detected by a human body detecting part (131) meets a specified condition, infers any one of a kitchen action of the human body standing in the kitchen for operation, a dinning room action of the human body sitting in the dinning room, or other actions, and judges whether there is a heat source with a temperature higher than a first specified temperature near the human body in the inferred kitchen action, dinning room action or other actions. |
