PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching machine capable of preventing flowing-out of a blank which becomes defective due to damage at a dust collection part.SOLUTION: The punching machine includes a punching part for drawing a cutout line α partitioning a blank B to a sheet S and a cutout line &bgr; surrounding a hole part h in the blank B and a ruled line being a bent line in the blank B, and a dust collection part for dropping the hole part h from the sheet S fed from the punching part. A detection means for determining the position of the blank B partitioned on the sheet S is disposed in the dust collection part. When the joined part of the blank B is broken or a surrounding margin Y is distorted to cause positional shifting of the blank B on the sheet S while the sheet S reaches the dust collection part from the punching part, the position of the blank B is determined at the dust collection part to temporarily stop the entire device or issue an alarm. |
