The purpose of the present invention is to provide: artificial hair having the same levels of curling properties and shrinking properties as those of human hair, excellent curling/setting properties, and similar styling properties and texture to those of human hair; and a wig comprising the artificial hair. The artificial hair is of a core-sheath type, wherein a polybutylene terephthalate resin or a polytrimethylene terephthalate resin is used as a core component and a polyethylene terephthalate resin is used as a sheath component. The artificial hair is composed of polyester monofilaments (F), in each of which a core part (Fa) and a sheath part (Fb) are arranged approximately concentrically. |
