PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the height of a coil end in a rotary electric machine stator and reliably fix a wire wound coil including a junction.SOLUTION: A wire wound coil 16 wound around a stator core 14 of a rotary electric machine stator 10 comprises: linear coils 30 which have a larger amount of projection at a coil end 18, and include a shape forming a parallel clearance between adjacent linear coils; and stepwise coils 40 extending in a circumferential direction and an axial direction of the stator with a plurality of level differences, which have a smaller amount of projection at the coil end 18, and include a shape forming an uneven clearance between adjacent stepwise coils. The linear coils 30 are provided at their ends with a junction part 22 which connects different wire wound coils or a junction part 22 which connects a wire wound coil with an external wiring. |
