PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system that can fully extract energy from individual cartridges wile making it unnecessary for energy balancing processing among the cartridges by leveling.SOLUTION: In a power storage system 6, a plurality of cartridges 100_1-100_4 formed by a plurality of connected cells are connected in parallel, and each cartridge independently maintains voltage convertible to a commercial voltage. The power storage system 6 comprises: a bidirectional DC-DC converter 61a provided commonly to the plurality of cartridges connected in parallel; a bidirectional DC-AC inverter 61b provided between the bidirectional DC-DC converter 61a and a node outputting the commercial voltage; a plurality of switch circuits 211-214 each provided between each of the plurality of cartridges connected in parallel and the bidirectional DC-DC converter 61a; and a control circuit 62 for controlling conduction or non-conduction of the plurality of switch circuits 211-214. |
