An air conditioner includes an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, and a refrigerant circuit. A method for installing the air conditioner includes: a planning step (M1) of determining factory-assembled parts and site-assembled parts of the refrigerant circuit based on a construction drawing of a building; a part fabrication step (M2) of fabricating, in a factory, a plurality of parts (42) of the refrigerant circuit (40) corresponding to the factory-assembled parts determined in the planning step (M1); and an installation step (M3) of installing and connecting in the building the plurality of parts (42) fabricated in the part fabrication step (M2) and a plurality of devices of the refrigerant circuit (40) corresponding to the site-assembled parts determined in the planning step (M1). The present invention allows for reducing the number of days required for the installation, cutting down the risk of fire accidents, and suppressing the occurrence of moisture condensation. |
