System and method for controlling the downforce applied to agricultural implement (1) with row units (10), that has a lift control device (320).
The system (300) has actuators (32) which are arranged to apply force to row units (10). The actuators (32) include down chambers (33) and lift chambers (35). Each row unit (10) comprises a downpressure control device (320) in fluid communication with the down chamber (33) for controlling pressure in each down chamber (33) separately. A lift pressure control device (310) is in common fluid communication with the lift chambers (35) of all actuators (32) for controlling pressure in lift chambers (35).
