PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a doorstop, which is installed on a hinged waterproof door in order to ensure a water tightness when the door is closed, to be applied to an existing subway aisle that requires a deep storage part in a floor.SOLUTION: A doorstop 16 with a flat plate shape can rotate in a door closing direction 18 of a waterproof door 1 from a laying position 45 to a substantially vertical upright position 46 on a floor 3a. The doorstop 16 is equipped with an upright holding structure 53, which presses a rear face 16d of the doorstop 16 to a belt like projection 17c in a storage 17 by a water pressure applied to a door body 8 and fixes and holds the doorstop 16 at the upright position 46. In a doorstop 16 at the upright position 46, a P-type packing 47 and a flat plate packing 48 are installed between the rear face 16d and a periphery 8a of the door body 8 and between a front face 16c and the belt like projection 17c of the storage 17, respectively. A watertight construction 54, which is compressed by a water pressure and watertightly blocks between the door body 8 and the floor 3a, is installed on both packings 47, 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
