PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel pipe for a press type pipe joint which can make the possibility of artificial errors on site work less by performing a work which makes site work essential in a factory.SOLUTION: After a steel pipe is cut to a required length in a processing factory, finish processing such as deburring or beveling is applied to a cut end face. On the outer surface of this stainless steel pipe, a line mark is drawn at a position away from a cut end face of the stainless steel pipe by an interval corresponding to an insertion margin selected in accordance with an adaptable pipe joint, and a compression discoloration seal is arranged continuously or with a predetermined interval circumferentially at an inward position in a pipe axial direction from the line mark.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
