PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for preventing a smooth part from being damaged when an AC overvoltage is inputted.SOLUTION: An electric power supply comprises: a rectification part rectifying an AC input; a smooth part smoothing voltage outputted from the rectification part; a switching part switching between connection and disconnection of the rectification part and the smooth part; an overvoltage detection part detecting an overvoltage of the voltage to be applied to the smooth part; and a switching control part disconnecting the rectification part and the smooth part by the switching part when detecting the overvoltage in the overvoltage detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
