The heddle (1) has strips (2,3) that form heddle shaft. End eyelets are formed on elements (6,7) in between which thread eye (8) is formed. Securing elements are provided for connecting and securing the elements and strips. The strips are connected at connecting points above and below the thread eye. The connecting points are formed at maximum distance from the thread eye, and the maximum distance is provided to be half as far as the distance between thread eye and respective end eyelet closest to connecting point. An independent claim is included for a method for production of heddle. |
