PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device a connection member of which is easy to convey, and construction of which on a job site is also easy.SOLUTION: A connection member 21 is manufactured by combining member pieces 17 and member pieces 19 in which three pieces of L-shaped plates are stacked vertically, in a lattice shape, in such a manner that a planar position corresponding to laminated rubbers 31 on an upper stage and a lower stage becomes hollow. At this time, corner parts of the four member pieces 19 are butted and combined in a cross shape, and four member pieces 17 are combined with the four member pieces 19 respectively so as to form a two-by-two lattice shape being combined with the cross shape. At a combined portion of the member pieces 19, a fitting plate 13 is arranged on an upper surface 45 and a lower surface 47 so as to bridge over each member piece 19, and the fitting plate 13 and each member piece 19 are connected by a connecting jig 39. A combination portion of the member piece 17 and the member piece 19 is connected vertically by using the connecting jig 39 in a state where a protrusion 25 of the member piece 17 is inserted in a recess 29 of the member piece 19. |
