PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pentasil-type zeolite having higher catalytic activity than conventional ones, a manufacturing method of the zeolite using inexpensive SDA and a catalyst for hydrocarbon synthesis containing the zeolite.SOLUTION: There is provided pentasil-type zeolite having BET specific surface area of 450 m/g or more and a molar ratio of phosphorus to the total amount of silicon and aluminum of less than 0.0005 and having no lattice spacing of 2.9 to 8.8 nm. The zeolite contains a silicon source, an aluminum source, a tetrabutyl ammonium cation and an alkali metal source and can be obtained by a manufacturing method having a crystallization process for crystallizing a mixture having SiO/AlOmolar ratio of 80 or more at 150°C or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
