PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning optical device capable of suppressing the lowering of scanning accuracy of light beams that is caused by thermal deformation of a housing, without depending on enlargement in size.SOLUTION: A scanning optical device comprises a housing 50 including: a reflection fixing part 53Y having a surface to which one surface of a reflection member 43Y is fixed; a holding part 52 with which the reflection fixing part protrudes integrally; a heat shielding wall part 54 that is integrally formed with the holding part 52 and shields heat transmitted to the reflection fixing part; and a groove-shaped relaxation part 55 formed in a portion between the reflection fixing part 53Y of the holding part 52 and the heat shielding wall part 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
