PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin for a toner, excellent in low-temperature fluidity, preservability, and grindability.SOLUTION: A polyester resin for a toner includes 1-40 parts by mole of a structural unit shown by general formula (1) based on 100 parts by mole of a structural unit derived from a polycarboxylic acid, wherein a glass transition temperature is at most 75°C. In addition, the polyester resin for a toner includes 5-70 parts by mole of a structural unit derived from a bisphenol A derivative based on 100 parts by mole of a structural unit derived from a polycarboxylic acid. |
