PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device capable of prompting a user to reduce unnecessary power consumption and supporting ecological activities by displaying transition of power consumed by a device with respect to an assumed power consumption of the device.SOLUTION: A control unit 8 performs reference power consumption setting processing which sets reference power consumption when a device is operated under an inspection condition in accordance with the kind of articles W to be inspected, calculates actual power consumption by integrating power consumed until a time has passed since the inspection started, calculates real power consumption ratio to be a ratio of actual power consumption with respect to the reference power consumption when a time has passed since the inspection by the reference power consumption started, and displays a temporal transition of the actual power consumption to a display operation part 4. |
