PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer that suppresses granular unevenness occurring in a transfer process in an image forming apparatus, and can obtain a good image.SOLUTION: A liquid developer of the present invention contains toner particles and an insulating liquid. The insulating liquid contains 10 to 60 mass% of first hydrocarbon having 11 to 16 carbon atoms, 40 to 90 mass% of second hydrocarbon having 17 to 20 carbon atoms, and 10 mass% or less of third hydrocarbon having 21 or more carbon atoms or does not contain the third hydrocarbon. The total amount of the first hydrocarbon, second hydrocarbon, and third hydrocarbon contained in the insulating liquid is 95 mass% or more. |
