Provided is a connector that can be pulled out from an inlet even if an emergency situation occurs in which it is not possible to pull the connector out by normal operation after insertion of the connector into the inlet has been completed. The main body section (1) of the connector (100) is provided with: a lock mechanism comprising a retaining hook (12) that engages with the concave section of an inlet, and a movable retaining member that retains an engaged state between the concave section and the retaining hook (12); and a lock release mechanism comprising a movable release member that releases the retention of the engaged state and releases the engaged state. In addition, one part of the main body section (1) is a planned break section that is configured to be weaker in specific areas thereof so as to break in a specified manner. The movable retaining member and/or the movable release member is provided with an emergency release mechanism so that in cases where the lock release mechanism does not operate normally and an emergency occurs in which the release of retention of the engaging state cannot be achieved, it is possible to release the engagement of the retaining hook (12) and the inlet by causing movement in a range that surpasses the normal range of movement, thereby causing the planned break section to break in the specified manner. |
