The present invention relates to a protection system of a submersible pump consisting of a pump housing provided with inlet and outlet branches and a pumping mechanism performed on a float base, wherein the supporting section of a protection system is formed by a pump protection body that is in its upper section provided with through holes, and on the pump protection body there is from below inserted a closing casing provided on its internal periphery with at least one upper sealing element and at least one lower sealing element wherein the casing is slidably mounted between a shoulder of the pump inlet branch and the pump outlet branch. This mounting is performed in such a manner that in upper extreme position of the closing casing the through holes of the pump protection body are situated between the upper sealing element and the lower sealing element of the closing casing and in the closing casing lower position the pump protection body through holes are situated above the upper sealing element, whereby the closing casing is provided with a float with a central hole for the pump outlet branch, provided with a shut-off check valve the shoulder of which serves from below as a support for a compression spring acting from above onto the closing casing.
