A diffuser suitable for use with a hair dryer comprises an air inlet 12 for receiving an airflow from a hair dryer, an external grille 40 having a plurality of air outlets 42, 44 for emitting at least part of the airflow from the diffuser, and an internal grille 80 located between the air inlet 12 and the external grille 40. The internal grille 80 is preferably a perforated plate. The apertures 82 on the internal grille 80 may be circular in cross-section, and frustoconical in shape. They are preferably between 0.5-2mm in diameter and evenly distributed over the internal grille 80. |
