PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information receiving apparatus capable of preventing double display of a notification screen reporting reception of traffic information.SOLUTION: The traffic information receiving apparatus comprises: a DAB tuner 20 for receiving DAB broadcast; an FM tuner 40 for receiving FM broadcast of the same contents of DAB broadcast when a field strength of the DAB broadcast is reduced, and receiving traffic information separately from the FM broadcast; and a telop display processing section 68 for displaying on a display section 70 a notification screen reporting reception of the traffic information. When a reception object is switched to traffic information of FM broadcast after the reception of traffic information is finished, the telop display processing section 68 does not display a notification screen corresponding to the switched traffic information. |
