PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC socket which improves the work efficiency by eliminating the need for disassembly work, and for an adjustment mechanism, and can adjust the pressing force of an IC package having a different thickness, while reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: An IC socket has a pair of locking members, and at least a pair of engaging parts. One of the pair of locking members includes locking pawls having a convex part in the central part at the tip, and concave parts at the right and left parts. The other of the pair of locking members includes locking pawls having a concave part in the central part at the tip, and convex parts at the right and left parts. One of the pair of engaging parts has a shape having a convex part in the central part, and concave parts at the right and left parts. The other of the pair of engaging parts has a shape having a concave part in the central part, and convex parts at the right and left parts. Pressing force of an IC package having a different thickness is adjusted, by turning the direction of a lid body unit, and changing the direction of engagement of the pair of locking members and the pair of engaging parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
