PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which it is desired to analyze a breakdown of given points accompanied by a purchase of a commercial article and use the analysis result of the points in a sales promotion of the commercial article.SOLUTION: A point management system according to an embodiment is configured to comprise: input means; point refund rate storage part that stores a point refund rate of a commercial article; refund rate acquisition means that acquires the point refund rate from the point refund rate storage part; point calculation means that calculates a purchase point of the commercial article, using a unit price of the commercial article to be identified by identification data input by the input means and the point refund rate acquired by the refund rate acquisition means; first totalization means that totalizes the purchase point totalized by the point calculation means for each commercial article; period totalization storage part that totalizes the purchase point for each period of the commercial article; and a point storage part that stores the purchase point totalized by the first totalization means in the period totalization storage part of a corresponding period with reference to a clock circuit. |
