PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can ensure a high contact pressure without performing rotary operation of a pressing member with a large force, while minimizing reduction in the contact pressure of a terminal due to stress relaxation.SOLUTION: Since a terminal 10 is formed so that the distance L1 from the pressing point P1 of a pressing member 30 to a fulcrum P2 is longer than the distance L2 from the contact P3 of a contact piece 12 and a mating terminal 1 to the fulcrum P2, the contact pressure F2 to the mating terminal 1 can be made larger than the pressing force F1 from the pressing member 30 in accordance with the principle of the lever, and thereby a high contact pressure F2 can be obtained without performing rotary operation of the pressing member 30 with a large force. Furthermore, since a stress occurring in a pressing piece 14 due to pressing of the pressing member 30 can be reduced, reduction in the stress due to stress relaxation can be minimized, and the contact pressure of the terminal 10 can be prevented from lowering. |
