摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more easily suppress the hydrogen embrittlement of a steel material.SOLUTION: In a step S101, at least one compound selected from water soluble borate, phosphate, molybdate, tungstate and silicate is prepared. Next, in a step S102, the prepared compound is stuck to the surface of a steel material (second process). By sticking the above compound to the surface of the steel material as the object in this way, even if water is present(stuck) to the surface of the steel material and a state where the reduction reaction of hydrogen ions can occur is made, the reduction reaction of the hydrogen ions is suppressed, thus, the infiltration of hydrogen to a metallic structure is suppressed.
