PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a fiber-reinforced plastic molding which enables impregnating a reinforcing fiber substrate uniformly with a resin by preventing short pass of resin and is excellent in dimensional accuracy even when trimming is omitted.SOLUTION: A method of producing a fiber-reinforced plastic molding comprises putting a reinforcing fiber substrate and a resin diffusion medium in a concave part of a forming die, covering with a sheet member, injecting, in a vacuum, a resin into the molding through the resin diffusion medium to impregnate the reinforcing fiber substrate with the resin and hardening. A trap part for the resin is provided in the side surface of the forming die in parallel with the flowing direction of the injected resin so as to impregnate the reinforcing fiber substrate uniformly with the resin. |
