PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and manufacturing device capable of manufacturing, with high productivity, a separator for a lithium ion secondary battery capable of making compatible internal resistance and a self-discharging property at satisfactory levels, in a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for a separator for a lithium ion secondary battery configured by forming a coating layer in a nonwoven fabric base material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a separator for a lithium ion secondary battery and a manufacturing device therefor are disclosed. A manufacturing method of a separator for a lithium ion secondary battery configured by forming a coating layer in a nonwoven fabric base material is characterized in that a conveyance roll from applying a coating liquid to the nonwoven fabric base material to drying is a roll of which the diameter is equal to or smaller than 25 mm, and a surface opposite to the surface to which the coating liquid is applied is supported by the conveyance roll. |
