PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of protecting surrounding members from heat generating parts of a main landing gear under constraints to a space of a main landing gear bay for housing a main landing gear and to a body weight.SOLUTION: An aircraft of the present invention comprises: a fairing 20 covering a lower part of a fuselage 10 in which a main landing gear bay 13 is formed for housing a main landing gear 12 with wheels 15, and defining, between the same and the fuselage 10, a ventilation cavity 30 communicating with the main landing gear bay 13; and a heat exhaust system 3, by intake and exhaust through an intake opening 31 and an exhaust opening 32 that communicate with the outside air from the ventilation cavity 30 or the main landing gear bay 13, exhausting heat, that is generated from the main landing gear 12 when the same is housed in the main landing gear bay 13, to the outside of the main landing gear bay 13. The fairing 20 defines a wheel opening 201 for exit and entrance of the wheels 15 of the main landing gear 12, and between the same and an outer peripheral part of the wheels 15 that is exposed below the main landing gear bay 13 from the wheel opening 201 when the main landing gear 12 is housed, defines a ventilation opening 32 functioning as one of the intake opening 31 and the exhaust opening 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
