The present invention provides a deblocking Method and deblocking filter. The method comprises: determining, according to a current pixel value of a pixel to be filtered in a pixel block and a pixel value of a pixel in a first neighboring area of the pixel to be filtered, a first filtered deviation value of the pixel to be filtered; performing prediction, according to a pixel value of a pixel in a second neighboring area of the pixel to be filtered, on the pixel value of the pixel to be filtered so as to obtain a filtered prediction value of the pixel to be filtered; and determining, according to the current pixel value, first filtered deviation value and filtered prediction value, an exact filtered value of the pixel to be filtered. The embodiments of the invention provides, by a combination of the current pixel value, first filtered deviation value and filtered prediction value, the exact filtered value, thereby increasing overall smoothness of a signal waveform after filtering.
