A base station, comprising a baseband processing unit (BBU), the BBU comprising: a master control and clock subunit, a signalling processing subunit, a baseband processing subunit and a resource exchange subunit, wherein the master control and clock subunit is arranged to control, operate, maintain and manage the base station; the signalling processing subunit is arranged to process signalling data of a control plane; the baseband processing subunit is arranged to process baseband data of a user plane; the resource exchange subunit is arranged to realize the connection between the master control and clock subunit, the signalling processing subunit and the baseband processing subunit. The technical solution solves the problem that it is difficult to expand the signalling processing capability due to the fact that a BBU in a base station adopts a relatively compact structure. |
