An array substrate, a preparation method therefor and a display apparatus. The array substrate comprises: a base substrate (01); a plurality of gate lines (10) and a plurality of data lines (02) which are located on the base substrate (01) and define a plurality of pixel areas; a pixel electrode (04) and a common electrode (05) which are located in each of the pixel areas, the pixel electrode (04) and the common electrode (05) being arranged on different layers; and a shielding electrode (06) formed on the base substrate (01) and at least corresponding to an area of the data lines (02), the shielding electrode (06) and the common electrode (05) being arranged on different layers, and the shielding electrode being not electrically connected with the pixel electrode (04) and the common electrode (05). The solution can solve the problem of an unstable common electrode voltage caused by the fact that a common electrode is easily subjected to the crosstalk of data lines, thus influencing the image quality of the whole array substrate.
