PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a viscous fluid behavior analysis time.SOLUTION: A fluid behavior prediction device comprises a discretization solution computation unit 20 for computing a fluid behavior by a discretization solution, an index solution computation unit 24 for computing a fluid behavior by a solution lower in a calculation load than the discretization solution, a provisional velocity calculation unit 22 for calculating velocity of a calculation point in the fluid and velocity of points around the calculation point by the discretization solution, and a solution switch unit 26 for, if the velocity of a calculation point calculated by the provisional velocity calculation unit is faster than the velocity of points therearound, switching computation by the discretization solution computation unit 20 to computation by the index solution computation unit 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
