PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to inspect a solar cell even when the solar cell is in a power generation state.SOLUTION: A solar cell inspection apparatus comprises: a diode 2 connected between a positive electrode P1 and a negative electrode P2 of a solar cell string 12 with a polarity allowing passage of an output current Io output from the solar cell string 12 when a solar cell 23 is in a power generation state; a voltage applying section 3 for applying a test voltage Vtst, which makes a potential of the negative electrode P2 higher than that of the positive electrode P1, and which exceeds the total sum of forward voltages of respective bypass diodes 24, between the electrodes P1 and P2 of the solar cell string 12 to which the diode 2 is connected; a current detector 4 for detecting the current Io; and a processing unit 6 for checking a presence of an open failure of the bypass diodes 24, by comparing the currents Io detected by the current detection unit 4 before and after the application of the test voltage Vtst, in the state where the diode 2 is connected between the electrodes P1 and P2 of the solar cell string 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
