PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick charger capable of minimizing the use of a power storage unit for stock comprised in the quick charger by making best use of DC power from a DC power supply unit.SOLUTION: A quick charger 1 comprises a DC power supply unit 7, a power storage unit for stock 9, a power storage control unit 11, a power supply control unit 13, a communication unit 17, and a command generation unit 19. The command generation unit 19 monitors DC power supplied from a power supply plug 21 to a capacitor 27 and sees if it has dropped to below the maximum DC power from the DC power supply unit 7. When the DC power supplied from the power supply plug 21 to the capacitor 27 has dropped to below the maximum DC power from the DC power supply unit 7, the command generation unit 19 issues a charging command, and the power storage control unit 11 starts charging the power storage unit for stock 9 by output from the DC power supply unit 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
