PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a battery temperature estimation device capable of obtaining the temperature of a battery even when a temperature sensor is not directly mounted on the battery.SOLUTION: A first heat-transfer resistance between battery main bodies 34a to 34d and thermistors 51, 52 exists in a heat transfer path to which a heat generated at battery main bodies 34a to 34d is transferred. A second heat transfer resistance exists between thermistors 51, 52 and a thermistor 53. A control part assumes that the heat generated in the battery main bodies 34a to 34d is transferred to the thermistors 51, 52 and the thermistor 53 via each heat transfer resistance in the heat transfer passage, and calculates a difference (estimated temperature difference) of the temperature between the battery main bodies 34a to 34d and the thermistors 51, 52 based on a difference of the detected temperature between the thermistors 51, 52 and the thermistor 53 and the first heat transfer resistance and the second heat transfer resistance. The control part calculates the temperature of the battery main bodies 34a to 34d by adding the calculated and estimated temperature difference and the detected temperature of the thermistors 51, 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
