PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device which can reduce the time and effort of a sheet removal operation for a user as much as possible with a purge function.SOLUTION: When a sheet B is passing through a branch point BP toward a delivery path 4a in a printer at the time when jam is detected in a post-processor 150, conveyance of the sheet B is continued to retreat the sheet B to the delivery path 4a. When the rear end of the sheet B passes through the branch point BP, conveyance of a sheet C arriving the branch point BP next is continued, and the sheet C is guided from the branch point BP to the reversing port 44 to purge it to the outside from the reversing port 44 without inversion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
