PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device and array antenna device, capable of changing radiation directivity or resonance frequency without causing limitation in installation of a matching circuit on a rear face of a dielectric substrate and an increase in an installation area on the surface of the dielectric substrate.SOLUTION: PIN diodes 27, 28 which serve as switches are inserted into a short-circuit line 26 connecting a junction point 24 with a junction point 25 of a radiation conductive element 22 so as to straddle a slot 23 formed in the center of the radiation conductive element 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
